How it works:
Make a request
Start by sharing your vision! Fill out the request form with details about your custom map, including locations, themes, and any specific elements you’d like included. You'll receive a payment request, and I'll get started once I've received the payment!
Initial sketches
I’ll create preliminary sketches based on your ideas. This is where we brainstorm and refine the layout and design.
Feedback rounds
You’ll have the opportunity to review the sketches and provide feedback. We’ll go through a couple of rounds to ensure the map aligns with your vision.
Final Map
Once you’re happy with the design, I’ll create the final map, incorporating all your feedback. You’ll receive a high-quality, personalized illustration ready for print or digital use!
Frequently Asked Questions
Once you’ve submitted a request, you can expect a reply within a day. In that reply, I will provide an estimate for your custom map, instructions for making payment, and details needed to complete your map.
Payment upfront is required as this is my full-time job, and it helps ensure a commitment from both sides. In the past, I’ve encountered situations where clients did not fulfill their payment obligations after investing time and effort into their projects. By securing payment in advance, I can dedicate my resources to creating the best possible work for you. If this approach doesn’t align with your way of working, I completely understand, and it may be best to explore other options. Thank you for your understanding!
Refunds are not allowed due to the unique nature of creating custom maps
Once payment is received, I will reply with your expected turnaround date. Expected turnaround can be anywhere from 1 week to 2 months depending on my overall commission timeline.
Custom maps are all created in the same style as the examples. This style leans towards hand painted, with colored pencil details style.
